Premier Technologies was the first company to play MP3 audio files from a USB flash drive for music-on-hold. This one-of-a-kind unit accepts standard USB flash drives ("thumb drives") stored with non-proprietary MP3 files. Simply store the audio file(s) on the drive and plug into the USB hub on the 1100 unit.
Updating the content is done without the need for special software. Simply insert the flash drive into the USB port on your computer and drag the new audio file to the drive. Customers can now receive audio files emailed directly from a production studio or their corporate office. This can eliminate delays waiting for physical media to be sent in the mail.
